Suzuki has confirmed that it is aware of reported instances of GSX-R125 front wheel failures during the weekend’s season-opening Freetech Endurance Championship round at Whilton Mill.

The GSX-R125 has been raced in the same championship prior to this weekend – including as an official entry in 2020 – during which period there were no reported issues. However, Suzuki is, naturally, very keen to understand what has caused this cluster of failures and is conducting an investigation to ascertain the cause.

Suzuki has had no reported issues from customers using non-modified GSX-R125s during regular road use since its introduction in 2017.

Suzuki will release more information in due course.
