Barnardos Suzuki pair invite all riders for send off

Biking for Barnardos charity riders Dave Snelling and Kurtis Murphy start their round the world charity ride this Saturday (14th June), and are appealing to motorcyclists in the Morecambe area to join them in a send-off ride starting at midday.

Leaving from the Eric Morecambe statue on the seafront in Morecambe at midday on Saturday, the pair will travel through 16 countries on their Suzuki V-Strom 650s, aiming to reach the east coast of Canada by the middle of November this year.

Talking about their forthcoming trip, Kurtis Murphy commented, "We’ve had fantastic support from everyone in the run up to our trip, but we’d be delighted to see as many motorcyclists as possible on Saturday as we start out on our voyage. Everyone is welcome to join us on the send-off ride, which will depart from the statue in Morecambe at mid-day and end at Devils Bridge, before we continue on our trip of a lifetime."

The team would like to thank all sponsors of the trip, including Suzuki GB’s clothing and accessory team who have provided riding gear for the trip, Wyder Suzuki for bike preparation assistance, plus the many individual sponsors and local organisations who have pledged support.
