Building the Suzuki V-Strom

Following the first two updates to the dedicated website to the new V-Strom 1000, the latest video interview is now online, as the Chassis Layout Designer discusses turning the concept into a reality.

TeppeiEguchihas worked with Suzuki since 2003, and after turning his hand to suspension design on a number of key models, he took on the role of Chassis Layout Designer for the new V-Strom 1000.

Eguchi-sanwas tasked withtransforming the Designer’s sketches and the Product Planner’s performance requirements into product reality. In the latest interview he talks about the aspects he had to consider when planning the layout of the bike, how he worked with the designers and engineers, and the targets set out to achieve with the chassis design.
