New Suzuki special editions announced

Suzuki has revealed a host of special edition models at Motorcycle Live, including a full range of 30th anniversary GSX-R models.

It’s 30 years since the original GSX-R changed the sportsbike landscape forever, and to celebrate Suzuki is launching four special anniversary models. Both the GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 will be available in the blue and white livery of the original machine, while the GSX-R1000 will be available in both the classic blue and white and red and black colour schemes.

On top of the special livery, all of the anniversary models will come with a titanium Yoshimura R11 exhaust as well as other Yoshimura hard parts, including bar end weights, top yoke nut, engine case savers, oil filler plug, engine timing cover plugs, and paddock stand bobbins.

They’ll also benefit from a double bubble race screen, wheel stripes, pillion seat cowl, tank pad, frame protector, top yoke protector, and fuel tank trim, as well as a special 30th anniversary decal on the fuel tank.

Both special anniversary GSX-R1000 models are in dealerships now, and will cost £11,599, while the GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 models are available from early 2016, and come with an RRP of £9,199 and £10,199 respectively.

The GSR750 benefits from the MotoGP replica treatment for 2016, and comes with bodywork in the stunning MotoGP blue, as well as a black Yoshimura R11 exhaust and Yoshimura hard parts, which include bar end weights, engine case savers, oil filler plug, engine timing cover plugs, and paddock stand bobbins, an aluminium chain guard and wheel stripes. It is available from dealerships with an RRP of £7,999.

A special edition V-Strom 1000 Titanium will join Suzuki’s adventure lineup in 2016, and comes well equipped with a Garmin 590 sat nav, touring screen, tank bag, LED fog lights, panniers, engine bars, hand guards, heated grips, lower cowling, centre stand, and a special matt titanium paint. It is available for £10,999.

An updated Hayabusa Z will be available in 2016, which comes with a new red and silver paint scheme and Hepta Force Titanium exhausts, and will cost £11,999.
