Suzuki is celebrating the latest class of graduates from its Advanced Apprenticeship Programme, with four motorcycle technicians, two customer service advisors, and one ATV technician recognised at a prestigious ceremony held at Coombe Abbey Hotel in Warwickshire, alongside their counterparts from Suzuki’s car division.
Graduates received their certificates from Suzuki GB’s managing director, Nobuo Suyama, and director of aftersales, Denis Houston.
The graduation marks the completion of three years of study for the apprentices at Suzuki’s state-of-the-art training centre in Doncaster, during which time the students undertake a combination of practical, hands-on learning activities and classroom lessons. Throughout the same period, they are also rewarded with employment at a Suzuki dealership to further bolster their learning, and the result is a fully-structured career path upon completion of their course.
Denis Houston, director of aftersales, said, “The graduation ceremony is the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication. It is always a proud moment for not only the apprentices themselves, but also for their families and employers who have played a pivotal role in supporting each of the individuals. They should all be commended for the great lengths that they have gone to in order to enable the learning and development of these young trainees. We would like to congratulate the graduates on their achievement, and they are certainly destined for very bright futures as they continue their professional careers within our dealerships.”
