Suzuki GB has launched a new Suzuki Tyre Support Programme, in conjunction with motorcycle industry tyre giants Bike Tyrestore, which offers a host of benefits to its dealer network aimed at growing aftersales business and increasing customer footfall.
The nationwide programme offers dealerships bespoke, competitive tyre programme pricing and access to an industry-leading stock portfolio, which includes high profile brands such as Michelin, Pirelli, and Bridgestone.
Access to a ‘virtual warehouse’ comes through a dedicated online portal, with free next-day delivery available nationwide, including Saturdays. Two same-day delivery slots are also available on weekdays for applicable dealers.
As well as tangible business benefits, dealerships will also gain access to exclusive quarterly promotions, plus exclusive Suzuki GB-subsidised consumer promotions to further promote amongst Suzuki owners.
A dedicated Bike Tyrestore business development manager plus a broad team of tyre experts and technical advisors will be on hand to advise on all manner of enquiries.
Those that sign up will automatically be registered for Michelin’s rewards programme, and gain access to Michelin training at the French firm’s UK HQ in Stoke-on-Trent or at Suzuki GB’s workshops in Milton Keynes.
Suzuki GB aftersales programmes manager, Michael Le-Flay, said, “While customers are likely to return to their dealerships for servicing, accessory fitment, or replacement parts, we know that tyres are often consumables that they source elsewhere, through standalone retailers or even general automotive tyre fitters. The aim of the Suzuki Tyre Support Programme is to help change the mindset of those owners that don’t currently consider using their Suzuki dealer for tyre replacement services, in turn driving more business for dealerships and creating upsell opportunities for products such as our Service Plan.”
“Teaming up with Bike Tyrestore was an easy decision, thanks to the team’s extensive technical experience, customer-centric approach, and group buying power that enables it to provide dealers with all of the tools necessary to be sure they are maximising tyre replacement opportunities in their local marketplace. This is combined with its bespoke dealer support package and ongoing sales and marketing activities.”
Chris Woodhall, Bike Tyrestore wholesale director, added, “It gives me great pleasure to be able to confirm our tyre supply partnership with Suzuki GB, and we’re looking forward to working with the team in delivering an industry-leading tyre support programme into the Suzuki dealer network. We believe that by helping to support their plans to drive footfall into the network we can leverage our many years of experience and insight to allow dealers to not only meet growing demand, but to maximise the revenue opportunities available.
“For us, our future growth strategy is very clear and that is to distribute a diverse and quality portfolio of tyre brands into our UK dealer network, and this association with Suzuki GB will be fundamental to this.”
Bike Tyrestore is the two-wheel division of the BMTR group, founded in 1919 in Birmingham, and is the UK’s leading supplier of motorcycle and scooter tyres to the trade.
