Suzuki girl torque track day announced

Suzuki has announced the date of its second Girl Torque track day, after the success of the inaugural event held at Donington last year.

Run in association with Focused Events, the day will take place at Cadwell Park on Wednesday 29th of August, andSuzuki look forward to welcoming all female riders along to the event, regardless of make of machine owned, to celebrate everything that is great about bikes and biking.

Tyco Suzuki riders Josh Brookes, Alastair Seeley and Conor Cummins will be in attendance, as well as World Superbike star Leon Camier, meaning those attending will be able to share the track with their racing heroes. Three-time former British Champion and Suzuki’s Racing Director John Reynolds will also be on hand to mentor those on track, and offer advice and tips to help improve your riding.

Tim Davies, Suzuki’sAftersales Marketing Co-ordinator, said, "As last year’s event was a major success, we decided to bring the Girl Torque track day back for 2012. Last yearthe girls all stuck together and got on really well. The camaraderie was excellent and many of them still see and talk to each other on a regular basis as a result. This yearthe girls will have John Reynolds as their dedicated instructor again, as well as their own area of the paddock to mingle and chat. KAIS Suspension will also be on hand to help with set up, free of charge, and with each rider being provided with a transponder, you will be able to view your best lap times at the end of the event. And all this for just £105."
