The last in a special trilogy of GSX-R limited edition machines will be released from the 1st of June as the 25th anniversary GSX-R1000 becomes available for reservation.
With just 25 bikes coming to the UK out of only 1,000 being built worldwide, this unique model features a bespoke white colour-scheme with special GSX-R anniversary logos, numbered top yoke plaque, Yoshimura 25th anniversary exhaust cans with engraved end plates, laser-etched wheel rim graphics and a certificate of authenticity.
Announcing the special anniversary GSX-R, Suzuki GB marketing manager, George Cheeseman, commented, "As our anniversary celebrations get into top-gear during the summer months, its great to launch our final anniversary tribute model. With the GSX-R1000 the ultimate bike in the range for many enthusiasts, and this version sporting a unique colour, not to mention bespoke logos too, this really is one for the collectors."
As the reigning National Superstock Championship winning machine, courtesy of the Relentless Suzuki by TAS rider, Alastair Seeley and recent winner of the North West 200 Superbike race, the latest model boasts the biggest update in the GSX-1000’s history.
Featuring technology straight from the race track, like the Showa Big Piston Forks that offer enhanced control and maneuverability, a redesigned engine that sees improved performance and a shorter wheelbase to aid sharper turning, it’s not hard to see why the GSX-R1000 currently leads the British, American and World Superbike championships.
With a recommended retail price of £11,000, more information can be found at the special 25th anniversary website – www.imgsx-r.com
